The class will be taught on sailboat MOD 30'. Each class day will begin with a brief into the boat introducing students to basic sailing terms, and boat handling. The rest of each day will be spent on-the-water utilizing hands-on teaching techniques. On-the-water topics will include: introduction to weather forecasting, safety, sailing theory, boat handling, sail handling, seamanship, crew work, acquaintance on board, reefing, right of way, overboard drills, mooring, anchoring and more. It is carried through in
sheltered waters in 2 days in the São Sebastião channel and
your beautiful nature.

PRACTICE OF MANOUVRE
CURSO INTERMEDIÁRIO - Intermediate - limits of sheltered and practical coastal navigation (similar Basic Cruising Course, in USA) 12 hours. 2 days sessions. This course is designed as an introduction to coastal cruising on a sailboat 30 feet in length. Students will learn skills they will need when chartering boats of similar size during daylight hours, within sight of land in moderate wind and sea conditions. Topics include: mechanics of diesel engine, weather forecasting, systems checks, leaving the dock, maneuvering under power in close quarters, sailing a large boat, coastal navigation, emergency procedures, anchoring, usage of VHF marine radio, and returning to dock. Prerequisite: Curso Básico. Minimum class size: 4. This
class meets one weekend or during the week for 2 days.
Traslado MORNING AFTERNOON EVENING
CURSO TRASLADO - Coastal Passage Making - practical coastal navigation (similar Bare Boat Cruising, in USA) 12 hours. This course is designed to provide students with the skills and resources to safely and comfortably cruise or barefoot charter a vessel 30 feet in length. Students will learn how to plan a cruise, acquaint themselves with an unfamiliar boat and location, sail, anchor and dock the boat in normal conditions, and live with others within the confines of a boat. There will be an emphasis on seamanship, which includes environmental awareness, resource conservation, careful navigation and courtesy. The boat will leave from Ilhabela to Ubatuba or Alcatrazes Island or Vitória Island or Ilhas Island (weather permitting) and return on the same day. Prerequisite: Curso Intermediário Minimum class size: 4. This class meets one weekend or during the week for 1 day. It is carried through in
sea opened up to 25 miles of the coast during one day of 12 hours.
Our courses follow standard of U.S.Sailing and RYA - Royal Yachting Association. To get the certificate
of experienced sailor it is necessary to be done more 18 hours in each
course with examination of certification and index of rightness of
70% of the activities taught in the practical one for each level.

TRANING HEAVY WEATHER
CURSO REGATA - Regatta - limits of Sheltered (similar Keelboat Sailing Level III, in USA) 12 hours. 2 days sessions. In this class we introduce the basics of navigation and weather forecasting, spinnaker work, and cover sailing efficiency on all points of sail. Weather and crew permitting, at least half of this class will be spent on the open ocean. Prerequisite: Curso Básico. In our site have de option
“CALENDAR” where we have the date of events of regatta along the year.
CHARTERS
Therefore we give the condition to make charters in no bare boat with intention to practice the art to sail in open sea and knowing our coast and its pretty contrasts. We speak English
in courses or charters.
STROLLS Have sailing strolls with 1, 2 or 3 hours in the São Sebastião channel for you know this place. Maximum size: 6 people The prices is R$ 50,00 per hour/person.
