Good Rank in the Regatta of Passage
   In day December 04 , we in front had a Regatta of emotive Passage with a  confused  start to the Píer of the Village in Ilhabela,  however although not to release together with the other sail-boats, finish leaving in the best position and in favor of the rapids that was strong, taking us for front of the squad of the way of the  flotilla and already reaching the champions after the Petrobras´s terminal, near of the São Sebastião´s  raft.
   At this moment, the flotilla decided to make a traditional passage however, we were direct for the buoy and we obtain to earn plus a position.
  After the buoy we needed to come back to the Village, to skirt the buoy and to go northward of the island in the Ponta das Canas, another time we were favored with a summer storm that if approached and started to blowfort with rain, taking us for the string of fond in the Píer of the Village, with a goodadvantage on the flotilla, therefore the wind finished after the storm and the staff led of 1 the 2 hours to cross the inbound string.

    He even gave time to dry the spynnacker that we use in the rainy backwind , to cover the sail-boat before taking a Heineken beer frozen in the canoe of the beer and seating in deck of the swimming pool, to in front attend the staff arriving the club.

   Result, we are in 3º in the generality and 1º in category " B " of Class RGS (Cruizers).
   Ourgratefulness to Mr. Felipo, who gentily yielded its GPS Gramin 45 to make thetactics in this regatta, the only problem with the device, was pane that it gave for occasion of the storm due the cloud covering, that provoked lack of satellitereading.

    Our sailers also were smarts, although to be in 1º in Category " B " of the RGS of the Annual São Paulo Ranking.

    They did not understimate and they had made the maneuvers the best that they had been able, this represented 60 % of theperformance of the sail-boat, the remainder was the tactics and the navigation foraccount of the Luit that worked with the GPS to find the best position and speed.

Good Start and Unexpected in the Windward Leeward
   In the following day we had a wonderful sky and sun, beyond the wind around 12 knots.In the start, we perceive that the flotilla would go to leave all a side the string and choose the opposing side where we were and more 2 lesser sail-boats.

   Had our position to be more advanced in the start and to retardation of the flotilla incrossing the start line, we leave in 3º place in the front of very bigger sail-boats.
   Inthe way it path for the other buoy, entered a calmness due to the wind to havemoved of position and falls in the shade of the Island, making the sail-boat to diminish speed it.

   These regattas Windward Leeward or Gold Cup are well shorter than of courses, making with that the work with sails and maneuvers beyond  the tactics very are demanded.
   Normally this regatta for being the first one of the series of the shortnesss we call " heating ", therefore between a stage and anotherone of the championship, it has a cooling of the time of of the maneuvers andas it could not leave of being, we had some misfortunes that in them had taken to 8rd place in the generality and 1rd in the class, what it is very good forconsidering itself that 15 sail-boats in class RGS exist and 3 in our category.

   Our apprentice of Luit tactician and its GPS was starting to give signs of goodperception of the race´s field, therefore it already had spoken of the wind lack and fallof the speed in the first passage.
